MAIUM is back with a new SS22 drop. Celebrating the Future Commuter, the brand’s third seasonal release places those that avoid carbon emitting transportation and take up cycling and scooters instead at the center of its design focus. The drop features new colorways of an old faithful, the Lightweight Parka, and debuts a modernized classic, the Utility Jacket.

The SS22 version of the Lightweight Parka comes in four colors, Army Green, Mocha Mousse, Black, and Silver. The piece has a completely waterproof outer shell, suitable for any type of weather. It can be worn year-round, during winter as an extra waterproof layer, and during summer on its own as a lightweight breathable jacket. The functional principles with which it was developed make the parka timeless, versatile and so it can easily fold into your bag or transform into a poncho for bike riding. Best of all, this model is made from 77 recycled PET bottles.

The new Utility Jacket is also a totally waterproof piece, appropriate for any climate. Designed with functionality in mind, it features classic detail, like oversized pockets and a high funnel neck. Just like other models, the Utility Jacket also transforms into a poncho for an easier bike riding experience. This new model is made from 99 recycled PET bottles and is available in Frosty Green, Mocha Mousse, Army Green and Black.

Using recycled PET bottles is common practice at MAIUM. The entire brand has been build upon not only this custom but also the continuous support of circular projects that aim to prolong the lifecylce of returned or unsold stock. The full unisex range is developed to be adaptive and functional, to suit cyclist’s needs, urban environments and unpredictable climate.
