Keep It Vegan as You Skate With Piilgrim’s FW22 Collection

Eco-conscious skate brand, Piilgrim, is keeping it vegan with its Fall/Winter 2022 collection. The collection is full of British-designed pieces that combine function with bold patterns. In a lookbook captured by photographers Jay Johnson and Luke Saxon, we catch a glimpse of what’s to come later this year.

Piilgrim is maintaining its solid formula of simple, color-blocked pieces such as the half-zip fleece and quilted jacket, complemented by the bolder patterns of garments like the pop art-style knitted sweater. There are also hardworking denim jeans and jackets, and a faux fur-collared jacket. Many pieces feature variations of the Piilgrim logo in calligraphy and line styles.

The heavyweight corduroy fabric, which has become a staple of the brand’s collections, is utilized again in a chore-style overshirt with multiple pockets. Also getting a second look in this range is a zip-up jacket that is constructed from deadstock upholstery fabric.

The brand hasn’t revealed too much about the materials and processes it uses, but its website does state that it uses “natural, organic fabrics and eco-friendly packaging.” And in an ambition to “make a difference” and contribute positively to the planet, Piilgrim plants three trees for every purchase made on its website. Which seems like a pretty good return for your investment.

The collection will drop in August. Before then, you can get your hands on previous collections through the Piilgrim website.
